The first semester of CGA is coming to a close up here in Gainesville. It has been a whirlwind of amazing times and full of challenges along the way also. I am excited to finally be finished and I am ready for the next step in the journey, and you know where that is!?!

GUATEMALA!!!

I am so excited to be going there for my next semester. I have been hanging out with the team at the base this past week. They have been here for a retreat for our overseas missionaries at adventures. They are an amazing group who love to laugh and more importantly have a love for spreading the gospel and seeing Jesus overflow in the community they are in. It has been an honor to serve them this week and I am stoked to be down there in Antigua with them in January.

I have a little more than a month before I officially fly out for Guatemala. During this time I will be home in Florida for the holidays, then heading back up to Gainesville in January to prep to leave. A lot of emotion is behind leaving for this part of the journey. When we get to Antigua, we will be stepping into some big shoes and expecting God to move in incredible ways. I fully believe God is going to do great things through our time there, I just want to be on the ground and start.

This semester has been such a prep work for being ready to go. I have loved learning more on culture, understanding AIM’s mindset in missions, and working alongside the LTM staff to really see their hearts for missions. I am excited to continue to communicate with them and see the fruit from their continued service to all missionaries under AIM.

So hats off to this semester. It has been one heck of a ride and I have loved every minute of it, the good and the not so good. I have learned, I have grown, and I am excited to see what God has in store next. He will for sure be showing up on the ground in Antigua, so I am ready to get there…..Next stop CENTRAL AMERICA!
